Visits to Mullum Primary School |
|
Written by Administrator
|
|
In recent years the links between Norwood and Mullum PS have strengthened and from this both schools have benefited in a range of areas. Our students gain much from the interaction and sharing that exists already.
Sometimes Norwood staff take their students to Mullum for a short activity in areas such as Psychology, Sport, Music, Drama or to use facilities such as their oval.
Specific parent permission will not be sought for these activities so you are asked to inform the College if you do not want your child to visit Mullum as part of a Norwood based school activity.

The school started smoothly on Monday 1 February with Assemblies at Senior, Middle and Junior school. I took the opportunity to address each of the Assemblies and while what I said varied between the different age groups, my central message was the same: school is a place of both enjoyment and work and we all need to recognise and commit to the work at the start of each year. Our students looked good and happy to be back and with a few hitches around Senior locker allocation sorted out, the start of the school year went very smoothly.

At this stage there are 57 interested couples (some singles still to try and arrange partners), hence 2 balls will be perfect - the booked dates are Saturday 24 July and Saturday 7 August 2010. Some students did not hand in contracts or payments so this must be done by Friday 12 February.
Students will be allocated one of the evenings for the Ball (any requests should come to Mr Halliday as soon as possible).
Any parents who are interested in being involved in the organisation of the Ball are asked to contact Warren Halliday at the College on 9871 0400.
